By now, the church, overall, has awakened to the facts that we are in a spiritual war that's raging, not only in this country, but all around the world. For the most part finding ourselves, the church, weighed on the balances, and have not measured up. THE church is great on teaching Bible history and future revelation, the things God has planned ahead. We gather hoping Jesus comes back soon getting us out of all the world's mess. We pray over and over, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10.
THIS IS A BATTLE CRY. The winds of war is upon us now. All spiritual warfare is based on one thing and one thing only and that is TRUTH! Even though we have been asleep, the spirit of anti-Christ is alive and thriving, deadset on taking over our country and all Christians who stand for righteousness, justice and truth that will set people free from the bondage of Satan and company. However, there is the ecclesia, the body of Christ worldwide, over which the Lord functions as head. THIS church is alive and well. They believe and practice the resurrection power of Christ. Luke 10:19. Jesus said: “I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy….”
They believe today what Jesus said in John 14:15. Jesus promises the Holy Spirit “The Father will give you another advocate, who will never leave you. He is the HOLY SPIRIT who leads us into all TRUTH.” THIS is the church today that believes what Timothy meant in I Timothy 3:14-15 “… so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God.” THIS is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundations of the truth.” THIS is the church we need today in this great fight, the church of truth. Jesus taught us how to pray, when He said pray “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.” The answer to that prayer is upon us now. We are the generation to witness and be a part of one of the greatest movements of God's kingdom coming and His will to be done in all of history. Our unity to fight and build together does not mean we decide to do everything the same way, but it means following the same one who leads by the Holy Spirit.
It's time we change our attention from who we are in Christ to who He is in us. Our missions from God, Colossians 1:27-28 “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfection in Christ Jesus.”
Remember you have been chosen for such a time as THIS. But if nothing changes, nothing changes!
