Cañon City Police Officers and Detectives canvassed the 700 and 800 blocks of Fairview Ave., Ohio Ave., Clover Ave., Barr Ave., and Phay Ave. to gain additional information regarding the recent shooting in the 800 block of Fairview Ave.
Command Staff, Officers and Detectives canvassed the 400 and 500 blocks of High St. and Autumn Ct, the 3300 - 3400 blocks of N. Fifth St., and Skyline Loop. Officers attempted contact about 200 residences and were able to speak with citizens at most of those homes.
For those not at home, flyers were left, which contained Crimestoppers and CCPD contacts, along with questions for citizens to consider when coming forward with information.
