Congressman Lamborn issued the following statement after Joe Biden announced his unconstitutional executive orders:
“I am wholeheartedly opposed to the unconstitutional gun control measures threatened by Biden. Biden's gun-grabbing executive orders will do nothing to stop criminals from committing crimes. These executive orders will only serve to further erode the Constitutional rights of millions of law-abiding citizens.
Gun control simply does not equal less gun violence. It is disgusting that Biden is exploiting recent tragedies to push his extremist political agenda and try to achieve Democrat's long-sought goal of total gun confiscation. In addition, Joe Biden's nomination of rabid anti-gun advocate and longtime gun control spokesman, David Chipman, shows that his Administration is intent on destroying our Second Amendment. Chipman's anti-constitutional lobbying career clearly disqualifies him from being the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.”
