Last week, I wrote about Grid Up Survival and if you take the suggestions I made in my last article to heart, that will make things much easier for your family should our Grid actually go down for any length of time.
No more WiFi Facebook or Netflix would certainly be considered the apocalypse by many millions of people in our society, but missing those things would pale in comparison to not having any food to feed your family, or no fuel or wood to heat your home during those long miserable winter nights.
Once the grid goes down, all bets are off. Our service based economy will simply be a thing of the past, no more EMS, if you start a fire you best know how to put it out, and lawlessness will exist everywhere including our local zip codes as calling 911 will likely result in just a busy signal if it rings at all. Hunting for your supper will be a good plan for a couple of days until all the wild game has been slaughtered by the hills have eyes crowd of morons.
As a general rule, an average adult human being needs around 2,000 calories per day in order to thrive. At a bare minimum, around 1,000 calories per day to simply survive. If you throw in harsh conditions such as limited or no shelter, adverse weather and or having to fight to survive, the need for protein and food sources escalates accordingly.
Fresh water will definitely become even more important than it currently is as some will try to monopolize it for commerce and total control which will likely make it challenging to obtain. Currency will work for awhile, until everyone figures out that the Grid is not likely to come back up and then our economy will reset into a barter society as it used to be on the wild frontier.
If you don't have anything to barter with, you are going to find yourself in deep S**T. If you, have planned ahead, and stored things like salt, pepper, brown sugar, foil, ammunition, matches, coffee, alcohol and dry goods like toilet paper, you will be able to trade for things you do not have.
You are going to have to cut people loose that you might socialize with now. Those with big mouths and tiny brains, those idiots are always dangerous to socialize with, now more so than ever. You likely have idiot family members that you are not going to be able to trust either, as I have had to cut loose some members of my own family for being dishonorable and completely untrustworthy. I am betting your families have similar opportunities to be culled for better outcomes for your inner circle.
Some of you have made plans to bug out to somewhere remote, although this can be a good plan, providing you have your retreat completely stocked and ready to go and that you can get everyone you are responsible for there in one piece… AND nobody came across your retreat before you could get to it, because they aren't just going to leave your place and go back on the road because you said pretty please.
Are you willing to fight for it in order to take care of your family and hang onto the things you were smart enough to acquire during Grid Up Survival mode?
Stupid unprepared people never put any planning into anything but they are always johnny on the spot to have their hand out wanting something for free. Look on ANY street corner these days, these scumbag cardboard rangers will be peeking in your windows and breaking into your out buildings if they aren't already doing so now, LOL!
Personally speaking, I think your best bet is to try to shelter and survive in place. You know your property and there isn't any possible way that you can take everything with you especially during any sort of Grid Down Emergency like what most of you have been preparing for or thinking about preparing for.
Another very important thing to do is to get your family right with God. Our society turns further and further away from God every single day, mostly led by the anti-Christ inspired minions of the scummacrat party. The things they stand for and the agenda's they thrust on all of us are pure evil, and all that evil will in fact have a day of reckoning.
