Kevin Woodward, 28, was arrested without incident by deputies with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Monday evening. Woodward was wanted in connection with a homicide in Pueblo and a shooting in Fremont County. The victim in the Fremont County shooting has been treated and released.
Woodward fled the scene of the Fremont County shooting and was believed to be in Westcliffe, with a family member. Members of the Fremont County Sheriff's office, the Custer County Sheriff's office and the Pueblo Police Department responded to the area but Woodward had changed vehicles and left the area prior to their arrival. A statewide alert was sent out with the vehicle description which resulted in Woodward's arrest.
