The Fremont County Sheriff's Department is excited to announce that it will be organizing a large yard sale on or around Sept. 5-7, 2024, to raise funds that will go towards the Sheriff's “Shop with a Cop” program.
The department welcomes the public's donations of good and usable items, which will be sold at the event. Please ensure that the items that are donated are clean and in good working order. Unfortunately, staff will not be able to accept TVs, pianos, or mattresses. Receipts for the public's donations will not be provided.
The department invites the public to drop off their donations at Cañon City Storage at 3345 E. 50, Canon City, between 8 am to 12 noon Saturdays, starting May 18.

The staff kindly request that callers to not contact the Sheriff's Office with any questions to avoid any disruptions in their operations. For those who are unable to donate items, the public can still contribute by making a monetary donation.
