The Artists' Gallery invites the public to join them from 5~8 p.m. for First Friday, July 1.
Summertime is here, and the organizers have planned a festive evening, including live entertainment by Gregory Carlson on classical guitarist. Refreshments will be served by member artists!
The Artists Gallery presents its Featured Artists for July.
Painter Ken McGowan has been a respected educator for more than 34 years. Now retired, Ken enjoys teaching art classes designed for adults, sharing his expertise and passion. Over the years, Ken has won numerous awards in juried art shows for his brilliant paintings and has created many public and private murals.
Rockin' L Designs owner Linda Ouellette said, “I swear in my last life I was a cowgirl! I have always loved creating things for as long as I can remember. I've made all my gifts for family and friends for many years. Being a hairstylist and owning a large, upscale east coast salon for the better part of 20 years gave me the experience to work with color and design. My greatest love was the people I met along the way. Making someone feel good and look good was always the goal! I fell in love with the west and took that love and created my jewelry designs.”
Art photographer Wayne Gade describes his innovative photographic style as a “blending” of original photographs with stylistic images. He explains, “I blend two or more interpretations of reality into a single image, to convey something deeper into the original photograph.” His results are captivating!
The Artists' Gallery has been selected as People's Choice Award for Best Gallery in Fremont County.

The Artists' Gallery is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 416 Main St. in Cañon City.
