Speaking as a proud Libertarian, would it be faaar too proactive for the citizens of Colorado to confront reality and acknowledge:
There will NEVER be a CONSENSUS among ALL the electorate as to when, specifically, down to the day / hour / minute, within that nine month gestation period, the diving cells/embryo/fetus transitions into a baby/person.
Fighting and arguing never has and never will change anybody's mind.
There is A LOT of difference between saying:
“This is what I believe in, therefore this is what I'M going to do.”
versus
“This is what I believe in, therefore this is what YOU'RE going to do.”
Letting Robbie and the Supremes decide accomplished nothing and only leads to more lawfare.
So what would happen is we all simply agreed:
The PLs will lead by example (Matthew 5:16) instead of harassing people who disagree, put their money where their mouth is and adopt ALL the unwanted kids, and cease imposing their religious filters on others.
The PCs will demonstrate their humanity by shutting down Planned Parenthood's baby part junkyards, make abortions truly rare instead of a convenience, and stop rationalizing and resorting to lawfare to impose their view.
Everybody can start working TOGETHER for the sake of ALL the children and take responsibility for their choices without hating, despising, demonizing, and vilifying each other.
As long as we accept and tolerate THEM and US as the only “solution” with everybody choosing up sides, the lawyers will certainly do well and The Devil will never stop laughing out loud.
