For Veterans Day in 2020, the Florence Pioneer Museum and Research Center honored the Eastern Fremont County men who made the ultimate sacrifice during their service. There were 35 brave young men that went to war to keep our country safe and free.

On Saturday, Nov. 6, the FPM will open its doors for donation/admission to again honor these 35 men. The Museum will be hosting an outside program on South Pikes Peak Avenue between the Museum and the Brewery (weather permitting) starting at 11 a.m. Presenters in the program will be the Penrose and Pueblo VFW, Miller-Kitto American Legion Post #25 and Master of Ceremonies Mike Vendetti. Organizers would like to invite living veterans, other families of fallen veterans and the general public to come and be a part of the program. Coffee and cookies will be served after the program in the Museum. www.florencepioneermuseum.org
