The Friends of the Royal Gorge Regional Museum, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, will hold a silent auction at the Fremont County 4-H Holiday Craft Fair held at Pathfinder Park Event Center on Dec. 1-2 to help raise funds for the museum.
Up for auction is a doll house, complete with furnishings, and crafted by lifetime member and board member of the Friends Paula McFarland.
For a closer look and early bidding, the doll house is on display at the Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center during regular hours until Nov. 30. The winning bid will also receive a lifetime membership to the Friends of the Museum organization. Also up for auction is a children's wooden dinosaur rocking chair handcrafted by lifetime member Shirley Carey.
The Museum & History Center is located in the City of Cañon City's former Municipal Building at 612 Royal Gorge Blvd. The hours of the Museum & History Center are regularly from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
