Alyssa Rupp, a senior at Cañon City High School, is CC Rotary's Student of the Month for November 2022. Her parents are Kimberly and Brian Rupp and her sister, Abigail Rupp.
Her school activities include volleyball, tennis, GATE and engineering design and drafting. Alyssa's honors and awards include being part of National Honor Society, Gold Honor Roll, state tennis qualifier and she received Solid Works certification. She currently has a grade point average (GPA) of 4.12.
About her additional community service activities, Alyssa states, “Unfortunately, due to Covid, the volunteer opportunities were limited during most of my time in high school. However, I was able to volunteer with the hospital for the 9Health Fair.”
Her favorite interest outside of school and community is music in all forms. She has played piano since she was 5-years-old. She is also very involved and interested in learning languages.
Alyssa's plan upon graduation from CCHS is to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
