The word gospel means good news. If it's not good, you're hearing then it's not the true gospel and there is only one gospel. Let's look at a couple of examples of the gospel being preached and the results. (Matthew 4:12-17) Jesus hears that John the Baptist has been put in prison. John was the voice of one crying in the wilderness, but there comes another voice, the voice of the Son of God. Jesus fulfilling yet another prophecy goes to Capernaum, “the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death, light has dawned."

Verse 17 says, “From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.'” The Scripture goes on to say that Jesus hand picks men and saying to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” This is still the heartbeat of God who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. The eyes of the Lord are still searching for men who will stand for Him in spite of the ridicule and proclaim the Truth. (Matthew 4:23) “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.” Please read verses 24 and 25. This is my Jesus, the Scripture says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

Religion may say the day of miracles is past, but there never has been a day of miracles only a God of miracles and that's the God I serve. In 1 Corinthians 4:20, the Word of God says, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” Also in (I Thessalonians 1:5) “For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and much assurance.” Let's not deviate from the Word of God because of unbelief or man's teaching, we need to go back to Scripture, the world is waiting for the gospel, the good news, and God has chosen you to be that voice that declares “Our God reigns.”
