Pastel Pencil Workshop instructed by Eric Matranga will be held from 1-3 p.m. -. Create a beautiful heron in water with conte pastel pencils on black paper. Members $50, Non-members $60.

Kids Yarn Octopus Art class will be offered from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, May 17. Drop in anytime during class to create a yarn-opus! $5 per octopus. Kids will braid, tie knots and use scissors.

Fairy Garden Sip and Create with Elizabeth Gamache will be provided from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, May 31. Unleash your imagination and create your own whimsical world at our Fairy Garden Art Class, featuring instructor Elizabeth Gamache! Join the staff for an unforgettable experience where participants will learn to design succulent layouts and craft miniature garden amenities, such as fairy doors and mushrooms out of clay. Wine all all materials provided. Limited to 15 participants $65 Members. $75 Non-members.

Artist Talk with Julie Hutslar. Join Julie Hutslar as she discusses her recent trip through Patagonia and the effect it had on her watercolor artwork! Experience Torres del Paine with her as she shares the paintings that make up her watercolor travel diary! Artist Talk will be happening at 6 p.m. May 29 in the Fremont Center for the Arts. Free Admission. No reservations required. Bring a hiking partner and learn about the intersection of art and the outdoors.

June Events

Watercolor course II four-week art course led by the talented instructor Julie Hutslar will be offered from 1-3 p.m. every Tuesday, starting June 4. Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve a spot today. This course promises to be an inspiring and enjoyable experience for all. Members: $130 Non-members: $145.

FCA First Friday Opening Reception. Introducing its latest exhibit “Capturing Light” with featured artist Cheryl Moore from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 7. Featured wine is Holy Cross Winery. Live Music. Free Admission. Awards announced at 6 p.m.
