The Bell Tower Cultural Center would like to invite the public to spend a summer morning making art.

A program of the Florence Arts Council, Courtyard Art will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. every Thursday morning during the Florence Farmers Market, which is in Pioneer Park. Each class costs $5 per person or $25 for a 6-punch card (materials provided).

During June and late August through Sept. 28, the classes will be geared toward adults since children are in school or participating in the Bell Tower Kids Art Camp in June. A variety of art classes will be taught, including polymer beads, kites, clowns, painting with a balloon, making sculptures out of paperclips, yoga and more.

Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome as space allows at 201 E. Second St. in Florence. For more information, call (719) 783-2038 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
