On June 24 at approximately 01:47 a.m., Officers responded to a reported stabbing at this location. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 21-year-old male who had been stabbed in the chest. The victim was transported to St Thomas More Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A 33-year-old male subject is being detained for questioning by investigators in relation to the incident. Additional details will be released at a later time as the investigation evolves.
CCPD Detectives in partnership with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the District Attorney's Office, of the 11th Judicial District, continue to investigate the scene of the incident at this time.
