On Sept. 14, 2021 at approximately 5:53 a,m,, Florence Police and Florence First Aid responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in the 800 block of East Main Street. Officers and medical arrived to find a 28-year-old Florence man “unresponsive on the ground with significant injuries.”
The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old male from Williamsburg, reported no injuries to himself. The pedestrian was transported to St. Thomas More hospital. The driver was not cited.
