All you readers out there probably have your own definitions of what a best friend should be or could be and who also need to define how you can be somebody else's best friend.
Do each of you recognize or acknowledge that God and His son Jesus are the best friends we could possibly have or ever will have!
So what is your definition of a friend? Here is mine.
A friend is someone who will always be there when you need him or her the most.
A friend is someone who will sacrifice what is going on in their life to make sure your life is better because you are their friend.
Jesus sacrificed his perfect life for your sins, past, present and future. He gave up everything to give you everything you ever thought you could possibly need -- eternity with Him!
A friend never asks what you can do for him or her. A friend asks what he or she can do for you. They are a helper, not a hinderer.
When we need God's help, He is only a prayer away. He is never too busy to answer and respond to our needs and our cries for help. He listens when we need to talk. He talks to us when we need to listen through the Holy Spirit if we're born again spiritually, to Him and Him only.
The devil roars like a lion seeking whom he may devour. God speaks softly but carries a very big stick of correction when we need that correction and His wake up calls.
When we sacrifice our worldly pleasures to please God, he sacrificed His only begotten son to save us from ourselves and sinful ways. Jesus overcame the world with God's Word.
“Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is no other way to reach God but through Him” (John 14-6).
Because God and Jesus will always be our friends, they first loved us before we could ever love them.
Because that love for us will always be our best friend.
He's our best friend because He loves us -- so very much now and forever!
Who could ever ask for anything more?
Our chaotic, power-hungry and deceptive government can never be our friend as long as they put their authority over us ahead of what's best for America. Today, we no longer have government of the people, by the people and for the people.
It's government of survival of the fittest and to h**l with those who can't keep up with our power and authority over you. God won't help you if you don't let us "help" you first. Where has that led us?
It's now time for God to be our best friend and overthrow the corrupt and too abrupt for our own good. Are you listening, God Almighty? Our prayers go out to you. Enough is enough!
